Spitfire Undercarriage indicator(pg8 ins)
Here we have the incredibly rare
and desirable Spitfire undercarriage indicator. This
particular model is probably unique in the world today being
marked in Turkish text. The lenses are slightly warped but
apart from that its in good original complete condition.

550 MPH ASI (pg8 ins) Usually I would
list this ASI for use in the Hawker Tempest and the Hawker
Typhoon and as far as I was aware these were the only two
aircraft types to use this particular ASI.
This one however has a DH
tester stamp i.e. De- Havilland. Supplied in its
original box and dated 1943.
I am at a loss to explain
this unless this was fitted to PRU Mosquito's cable of
higher speeds, its just a theory and would be pleased to
here from anyone with more info.

Sunderland Flying Boat Fuel Gauge (pg8 ins)
A very unusual item. You don't
see many parts for this
aircraft.
From the outbreak
of war in 1939 the Sunderland was ceaselessly at work
hunting and destroying U-boats, rescuing seamen and engaging
so effectively with enemy aircraft that the Luftwaffe
nicknamed it 'the flying porcupine'. On many occasions a
single Sunderland fought off five or more hostile aircraft.
One was attacked by
six Ju-88's, shooting down three of the German aircraft and
driving off the others.
The Mark III introduced an improved hull form
and - from 1940 onwards – Sunderland’s of all marks carried
ASV radar, Leigh lights for illuminating surfaced
submarines, and increasingly advanced avionics.
