Bristol Blenheim/Bolingbroke Yoke (pg2 cont)
In superb original condition this is an extremely rare grip.
This yoke is for the Canadian Built Bolingbroke which is the
Canadian version of the Bristol Blenheim.
It differs in that the firing button is on the right as
apposed to the left as in the British version.
British
version seen under for comparison only the grip on the left
is the one for sale.

As early as 1937, a
prototype variant of the Blenheim, known as the Bolingbroke
was flown. It had been requested by the Canadian government
as a potential replacement for the AVRO ANSON in
transport and training. This machine was taken on strength
by the RCAF. A long nosed version was developed (to allow
the pilot to see over the bombardier's prone position)

Halifax/Hampton Aileron parking brake (pg2 controls)
Click on the
picture's under to enlarge part number

This is a really nice
piece of kit complete with its original stowage bag. It is
for locking the control column to the pilots seat when the
aircraft is on the ground to prevent damage to the ailerons.
It would have
been stored on board when not in use hence the brackets on
the bag. So far I have been unable to ascertain the exact
aircraft type but the quality stamp is EEP. this is the code
letter for English Electric Preston. They built the Halifax
and Hampton so I think it belongs to one of those types. If
you can ID the part number
please email me
In 1938 English
Electric became a 'shadow' aircraft manufacturer, able to
build other companies designs for the war effort. Preston
was chosen as the aircraft factory and an airfield at
Samlesbury was built. 80 aircraft a month were built at the
peak during 1944.
During the war production was spread
across other sites in Preston to protect it in case of
attack. It appears the Germans weren't aware of what the
factory built.
A successful run of
5000 Hampden, Halifax and Vampires led to the design of the
Canberra and Lightning

Handley page Halifax Trim(Page2 cont)
A really
nice and extremely rare
wheel for a remote D.F.
loop drive (aerial). Would be located in the Wireless
Ops position, of the Halifax. A/M crown so manufactured
before 1944.
A/M 10J/10595
The second of
Britain's four-engine bombers to enter frontline service,
Handley Page's Halifax has forever lived in the shadow of
Avro's superb Lancaster. However, it was a Halifax which
became the first RAF 'heavy' to drop bombs on Germany when
No.35 Squadron raided Hamburg on the night of 12th/13th
March 1941. Between 1941-45, the Halifax completed some
75,532 sorties (compared with the Lancaster's 156,000) with
Bomber Command alone, not to mention its sterling work as
both a glider tug and paratroop carrier with the Airborne
Forces, maritime patrol mount with Coastal Command and
covert intruder with the SOE. The Halifax was also the only
RAF four-engine bomber to see action in the Middle East.
Built in six major variants (and numerous sub-series within
these variants) which differed primarily in the type of
engine employed, no fewer than 6176 Halifax's were completed
for the RAF between October 1939 and November 1946

English Electric Lightning Grip (pg2 cont)

The only all-British
supersonic aircraft to enter production, and the last
all-British single-seat fighter, the English Electric
Lightning defended United Kingdom air space for more than
twenty-five years. By designing a twin-engine aircraft with
the fuel volume of a single engine aircraft, English
Electric produced a relatively light and extremely powerful
fighter, but with the inevitable consequence of a lack of
range.

excellent condition.
Airspeed
Oxford cockpit shown below.

The Airspeed Oxford was an
important British and Commonwealth aerial trainer that
served through World War Two. The system appeared in two
notable forms as the Oxford I and the Oxford II with a few
sub variants sprinkled in between. Charged with the training
of bombing and gunners for the Oxford I model and training
of radio and navigation personnel in the Oxford II, the
Oxford series as a whole was an indispensable addition to
the United Kingdom - serving to train numerous aircrews |

Heavy Bomber camera control (pg2 cont)
This is a mint condition Control
for the camera on heavy bombers to capture the fall of the

was fitted to smaller bombers or recognisance aircraft but
this is a possibility.
