37 Gallon converted Spitfire fuel gauge (pg6 ins)
This gauge has been
professionally converted from a 35 gallon fuel gauge. The
face has been re-mastered to this perfect copy. You can
instantly compare it to the original above. The donor gauge
is a period original 35 gallon version and so its
calibration is very close to the 37 gallon. Remember a
Merlin will consume a gallon of fuel a minute on tick over.

Torpedo depth setting gear (pg6 ins)
This is an unusual piece and not
one I have seen before. It is dated 1945 and is good
condition complete with cables. It allows the pilot to set
the depth at which the torpedo will run.

The
formidable Beaufighter was used as a Torpedo bomber in 1945
among its many roles.
